Description

A tangy, spicy, and refreshing Indian mango salad seasoned with chaat masala, herbs, and a zesty lime dressing. Perfect for summer meals or Indian-themed dinners!


Ingredients

  • 2 semi-ripe mangoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped (optional))
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp chaat masala (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt (kala namak)
  • Juice of 1 lime or lemon
  • 1 tsp tamarind paste (optional)
  • Sev or crushed papdi for topping (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare Mango: Peel and dice mangoes into bite-sized pieces. Add to a large bowl.
