Ingredients

- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions
- Prepare Rhubarb: Wash and chop rhubarb into ½-inch pieces.
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, add rhubarb, sugar, and water. Stir gently.
- Cook: Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce to low and cook for 10–15 minutes until rhubarb is tender and broken down.
- Flavor: Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and lemon juice, if using.
